AT&T Cell Phone Unlocking Service

AT&T Cell Phone Unlocking Service

We have just added this new service to our website.  If you have a cell phone that is currently locked to the AT&T cellular system this is the unlocking solution for you.

What does this mean?  I’m glad you asked.  If you purchase a cell phone from AT&T with service, the phone will likely be locked to their system.  Meaning that the cell phone will only accept an AT&T sim card.

Lets say that you have decided to leave AT&T and you want to use the same cellphone that you currently have and activate it with T-Mobile or Simple Mobile or h2o.  Or better yet let’s say that you are going on vacation to a foreign land and want to purchase a local sim card there and use your AT&T cell phone.

Then you will need to unlock your AT&T cell phone so that it will accept any sim card from any gsm service provider.  GSM is the type of system that AT&T and most other countries operated their service on.  All GSM service providers use sim cards in their cell phones.

So here is how it works:

1.) You purchase the AT&T Unlocking By IMEI Service

2.) Enter your cell phone model

3.) Enter the IMEI number (15 Digits All numbers No letters) listed on the back of your cell phone (VERY VERY IMPORTANT)

4.) Add to Cart

5.) Checkout and pay for the unlock code and you will receive the code with instructions on how to enter it into your phone within 48 hours.

That’s it.  It’s that simple.

Verizon iPhone Preorders Break Company Records

Verizon iPhone 4

Verizon iPhone 4

Verizon Wireless reported that it broke the company’s first-day sales records for any device in only a few hours.

The CDMA version of the Verizon iPhone 4 went up for sale to existing customers to preorder online yesterday, completing the most successful first-day sales in the history of the company.

Dan Mead President and CEO of Verizon Wireless said in a statement “In just our first two hours, we had already sold more phones than any first day launch in our history. And, when you consider these initial orders were placed between the hours of 3 a.m. and 5 a.m., it is an incredible success story,”

Mead also said customers will have another opportunity at being among the nation’s first to own an iPhone 4 on the Verizon Wireless network. “Yesterday’s launch set the pace for next week when we open up sales to everyone across America,” he said.

The general market launch of the iPhone 4 on the Verizon Wireless network will occur on Feb. 10. According to a survey conducted by uSamp from Jan. 28 to Jan. 31, which queried over 700 smartphone users, 29 percent of AT&T customers who intend to switch to Verizon for the iPhone are willing to wait in line on Feb. 10 to get it.

Among existing Verizon customers who plan to get the iPhone, uSamp found that 24 percent report a willingness to stand in line as well.

But it’s the young consumer who is most taken with the iPhone. Among AT&T customers intending to switch, 35 percent of those ages 18-24 and 50 percent of those ages 25-34 are willing to wait in line on the Feb. 10 launch day. For Verizon’s current BlackBerry and Android users who report plans to switch to the iPhone, 46 percent of those ages 18-24 and 34 percent of those ages 25-34 agree to wait in line on day one.

Demand for the original iPhone 4 on AT&T was so strong that online preorder traffic actually shut down both Apple and AT&T servers. Both companies broke first-day sales records with that launch.
